Land Use Committee:
Monitors land use development and activity within ours and neighboring associations.
Social Committee:
Organizes social activities and events for our neighborhood including block parties, welcome wagons, etc.
Transportation Committee:
Involvement in transportation safety meetings and ongoing discussions and projects with the City of Bend (includes pedestrian, cyclist and transit issues)
Parks, Gardens, and Natural Spaces Committee:
Involvement in meetings, projects and ongoing discussions with Bend Parks and Recreation, Oregon State Parks, City of Bend, etc.
Good Samaritan Committee:
Coordinating volunteers with local elderly or shut-in’s in need of assistance. Our Good Samaritan Assistance Program has grown immensely, represented by fellow neighborhood associations and volunteers throughout the city. Our hope is this, if we can help a few of our neighbors live at home with dignity we are all a good deal better off for it. As well, it also provides us valuable information in identifying neighbors in our neighborhood who may need checking in on or assistance in the event of a disaster
